 For Inquiry I made insect rocks with my buddy willow where are going put some around the city so keep your eyes open😝    

I also a made a slideshow of bugs around the world

bring your name to life in Minecraft!!

 For CRT we did Minecraft we had to bring are name to life it was really fun but it was also really hard. I kept smashing blocks when I was trying to place other blocks it was really annoying but I got there  I made my name two  layers thick.  Here's what it looks like.

Sphero ramps

I worked with Izzy and Lily      We had to Build a Ramp for a sphero  to Drive up 

The challenge was to Make the sphero drive up the ramp  and  jump was Really hard but we did it!  Used Cardboard tape And scissors to make the ramp. Somebody stood on our ramp so we had to Fix it 

waterfalls

My pack was as heavy as a sack of stones. Bella and Kahu ran head of me, I sighed. Through the trees I could see a big hill covered in trees. 50 minutes later. We could hear the sound of running water. Was it the waterfall? No! Just a big rushing river. I have wet shoes again.  I see our first waterfall we walk a bit further chattering like drunken monkeys.We are there at last we have lunch  and look at the waterfalls. We walk back to the car park.

Jack and the Beanstalk

Oh no the giant has put up Barb Wire so that Jack can't get down Beanstalk so easily. 

Can you help him get down?

I can. I am going to make a parachute and a basket for Jack and the golden egg.

I am going to use a small cardboard box , fabric , hot glue and permanent markers.

Pompoms and How to Make Them With a Fork

This week we have made pom poms
but my cat destroyed them and
now they are just a piece of wool on your socks.
puss puss loved them and if I make more
she will eat the wool that I need for making  stay together 

    How to make them

What you need

 * scissors

 * fork

 * yarn, wool

 * little black beads

* pipe cleaners

* measuring tape

YARN

You will need 2 pieces of yarn.

*1 piece 3.6 m

*1 piece 30.5 cm

Cut the yarn into two pieces.
Place the 30.5cm piece in the middle
of the fork. Wrap the 3.6m piece around
the fork, tuck the end of the yarn in
with the rest of the yarn. Tie the
30.5cm around the middle very tight.
Cut all the loops on your pom pom.
Trim your pom pom so all the
pompom’s fur is the same height.
Roll your pom pom in your palm so all
the fluff comes off. Put on the eyes, nose, ears and tail!

Here is are pom-pom house we used a Chromebook box and

a egg box and lots of wool we use hot glue to stick it together.
