Paper Plane Science

Idea 1

This week we made paper planes.

We were trying to find out how to stop the friction that pulls the plane back. 


Idea 2

My first plane had small wings 
and a flat tip 

It travelled 3.m  

I think it went that far because It had a flat tip which create friction.

Idea 3

My second plane had big wings and a pointy tip.

It travelled 3.5 m.

I think it went that far because it had less friction.

Idea 4

My third plane had  a Very pointed tip and big wings

It travelled 5.m

I think it went that far because it had lost of lift

Idea 5

The best paper plane design was   the 3rd                 because drag than 1 abuse it had ld 2.

Odd sounding isn't it 

Phone in a bowl

When  we put a phone in a bowl it vibrates and echoes it gets louder. When  you put the speaker in the oven.
It bounces off the walls And it echoes.

Fire proof balloons

What do think will happen if you put a balloon over fire? Why don't you find out all you need is a balloon, some water and a candle and a lighter. First I put a little bit of water in the bottom of the balloon and blow up the balloon. The balloon didn't pop because it had water in the bottom so the flame heated up the water not the rubber.
